(Greenfield, MA) — The lights at the Franklin County Fairgrounds may soon be shining a bit more brightly. The fairgrounds has been awarded a $70,000 dollar state grant to upgrade the facility’s electrical system. The grant was one of only 12 awarded through the commonwealth’s Cultural Facilities Fund. The upgrade is set to take place in early spring, and will take about three weeks to complete.
