(undated) — If you haven’t yet secured your “real ID” from the state, you have a little extra time. The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles has announced that the deadline to secure the new ID has been extended until May 3, 2023 because of the COVID pandemic. Travelers will eventually need a REAL ID compliant driver’s license or ID card for domestic air travel and to enter certain federal facilities.
