Greenfield School Committee To Debate High School Student Support Officer Monday

(Greenfield, MA) — It appears the debate over returning a Student Support Officer to Greenfield High School is just beginning. The Greenfield School Committee has posted a special meeting for Monday night to discuss whether to add the officer in response to a series of violent incidents at the school. The proposed change is expected to be challenged by a number of groups opposed to the concept of returning police to school buildings under any circumstances.
