(Holyoke, MA) — Criminal charges have been dismissed against two former officials at the Holyoke Soldiers’ Home. Former Soldiers’ Home superintendent Bennett Walsh and former medical director Dr. David Clinton were both facing criminal neglect charges over their roles during a COVID 19 outbreak which killed at least 76 veteran residents. A Hampden Superior Court Judge ruled Monday that there was insufficient evidence to support criminal charges against Walsh and Clinton.
