(Amherst, MA) — It may soon cost more to attend the University of Massachusetts. UMass Trustees are considering raising tuition and fees for the first time in three years beginning next fall. Part of the rationale for the increase is believed to be rising operating costs related to COVID 19. No final decision on any increases will likely be made until the spring semester, according to a university spokesman.
