(Deerfield, MA) – Deerfield residents are being asked to wear masks or face coverings in areas where social distancing is not possible. The Deerfield Board of Health voted on the recommendation at its most recent meeting. The advisory stops short of a mask mandate. Deerfield registered 19 virus cases in the two-week period from November 21st to December 4th, an increase of five cases from the previous week, according to data from the Department of Public Health.
