New Greenfield Firefighters Sworn In, Full-Time Members Promoted

(Greenfield, MA) – The city of Greenfield has some new firefighters on the street today. The department held its annual swearing in ceremony at the John Zon Community Center. Fire Chief Robert Strahan said four new members of the call force were added. They are: Madison Atkocaitis, Kevin Worden, Colin Cloutier and Gabriel Chapley. Call force members Evan Geary, Charles Silva and Joseph D’Astous became part of the permanent force. And current firefighters Gregg Diefendorf, Mark Cadran and William Kimball were promoted to lieutenant.
