(Athol, MA) – Area towns continue to encourage the use of masks and face coverings in public spaces. The Athol Board of Health last night voted to put forth an advisory for residents and businesses to wear masks and or face coverings indoors in public places regardless of vaccination status. The Athol advisory is consistent with the one recommended yesterday by Governor Charlie Baker, which recommends but does not mandate the use of masks in public places in Massachusetts.
