(Greenfield, MA) – A woman and an 8-year-old child were injured after being struck while crossing Greenfield’s Main Street early last night. Police said the two were crossing the Main to Chapman Street intersection when they were hit by an eastbound car driven by a Leverett man. The pair were taken to Baystate Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The driver was issued a citation for failing to yield for pedestrians.
