(Franklin County, MA) Freezing rain fell through western Massachusetts for a good portion of Sunday. Road crews were busy keeping main roadways ice-free while untreated side streets remained slippery for most of the day.
Temperatures rose late in the day and today will be a transition day as highs are expected to only reach the teens tomorrow with a wind chill factor below zero.
