(Franklin County) Frigid temperature this past weekend led to many residents reporting frozen and burst pipes. A burst sprinkler head at Greenfield Community College caused what officials are describing at significant damage. The sprinkler burst on Sunday, damaging several offices. Classrooms and the current CIC COVID-19 testing area were not affected. The Greenfield Fire Department responded and assisted at the scene after being alerted by GCC staff. The main building will be closed today and the COVID-19 testing site has adjusted their hours. A damage report from Greenfield Community College will be released soon.
