(undated)  – The President of the Massachusetts Senate favors a statewide indoor mask mandate, but her colleagues may feel otherwise. The State House News Service reports that Senate President Karen Spilka believes the mandate is a good idea to prevent the spread of COVID, but she’s not sure such a bill would pass the House or the Senate. Governor Baker has so far resisted calls for a statewide mandate, preferring instead to leave the decision up to local communities.
