(Northfield, MA) – A fundraising effort is underway to benefit a Northfield family recently displaced by a fire. The Northfield Elementary School and the group “Loaves and Fishes” have both begun benefits for the McIsaac family, whose two-story house at 386 Mount Hermon Station Road was destroyed by a Friday afternoon fire. Those interested in making monetary donations through Loaves and Fishes can send checks to Loaves and Fishes c/o Cathy Hawkins-Harrison, 65 Ashuelot Road, Northfield, 01360. Those who wish to make donations of money or food, gas cards and home items can drop them off at Northfield Elementary School at 104 Main Street.
