(Boston, MA) Former Boston city councilor and unsuccessful mayoral candidate Andrea Campbell says she is running for state attorney general. Campbell said on Twitter on Wednesday that she has dedicated her life to fighting for greater equity and opportunity and plans to be an advocate for fundamental change and progress if elected to the attorney general’s office. She joins labor lawyer Shannon Liss-Riordan in the Democratic race to replace Maura Healey, who has announced that she is running for governor.
