(Warwick, MA) 65-year-old Stephen Pontz of Warwick was arraigned in Franklin Superior Court yesterday and sentenced to five years of probation. Pontz pled guilty to six felony child pornography charges. He is a former Chairman of the selectboard in Warwick. According to prosecutors, Pontz used an online account to review, view and disseminate sexual images of children. As a part of his probation, he is to have no unsupervised interaction with any person under the age of 18 and he must register as a sex offender.
