(Greenfield, MA) Greenfield has launched a new free COVID-19 rapid antigen testing location, open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Starting March 14 from 7am-1am, the Greenfield Health Department will be offering the testing at its location at 20 Sanderson Street on a first come, first serve basis. No appointment is necessary, and the results are available via text message in about 15 minutes.
“We’re making this service available for people who are exhibiting coronavirus symptoms or who have come into contact with someone who has COVID-19,” said Greenfield Health Director Jennifer Hoffman. “This is not testing to screen for the virus. If you’re feeling fine and haven’t been exposed, there’s no need to take a rapid antigen test.”
