(Greenfield, MA) April is Child Abuse Awareness Month and the City of Greenfield is having a flag raising this Friday, April 1st to mark it. The event will be held at the Greenfield Town Common on the corner of Bank Row and Main Street from 12:15 to 12:45 pm. Along with the flag raising, there will be a performance by Ja’Duke and information on local resources to prevent child abuse.
The Mayor’s Task Force Against Domestic Violence, the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office and other stakeholders will be hosting the commemoration.
