(Greenfield, MA) The annual Senior Tax Work Off Program opened May 2nd and completed applications are due by May 31st. This program offers seniors in Greenfield the opportunity to work off up to $1,500 of their real estate tax bills by contributing work hours to various City departments.
Requirements for the program include living in Greenfield for at least five years and in Massachusetts for at least ten years. The participants are selected by lottery and applications are available at the Greenfield Senior Center front desk on weekdays from 9 am to 4 pm.
