(Deerfield, MA)*Update* The single occupant of the vehicle on fire this morning was able to get himself out of the vehicle without injury before the Deerfield Fire Department arrived on scene. They were assisted in fighting this fire by the South Deerfield Fire District. Once on scene, the fire was quickly brought under control and the road was reopened.

The Deerfield Police are on scene at a car fire near house #360 on Greenfield Road in Deerfield. The road is temporarily closed and the Deerfield Police ask that residents use Mill Village Road to go around. No injuries have been reported yet.
