(Boston, MA) The price of postage stamps is increasing for the second time in the past year. Starting July 10th forever stamps will go up two cents from 58 cents to 60 cents. Stamps could see further price increases as the Postmaster General Louis DeJoy strives to make the United States postal service self-sustaining.
Louis DeJoy became the 75th Postmaster General and Chief Executive Officer of the United States postal service in June 2020. Prior to becoming the Postmaster General, DeJoy was the Chairman and CEO of New Breed Logistics, through which he worked closely with the U.S. postal service for 25 years.
