(Greenfield, MA) At last night’s joint public hearing the Economic Development Committee and the Planning Board both voted in favor of a tier reduction for outdoor marijuana growth facilities in Greenfield. This would reduce maximum tier size from a tier 11 to a tier 1, which is a reduction from 100,000 square feet to 5,000 square feet. This proposed zoning ordinance would reduce the size of the cultivation project on Country Club Road in Greenfield. Next, with positive recommendations from the EDC and Planning Board, the proposal heads to City Council in August.
