Ongoing Search For Charlemont Man That Assaulted And Fled

(Charlemont, MA) Sunday evening around 6 p.m. a search began for a Charlemont man who assaulted someone and fled the scene. The search is being conducted by the Charlemont Police and the Massachusetts State Police who said that the suspect is associated with the victim and known to the police. The State Police brought in Airwing support that assisted in the search until 8 p.m. last night. The suspect has not yet been found.
