The Iron Bridge connecting Shelburne and Buckland is closed for all vehicle traffic until further notice. A vehicle fire occurred on the bridge early this morning and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation will need to inspect the bridge for structural integrity and safety before it can be reopened. The Buckland Police Department is suggesting people to use the bridge on Route 2 to cross the river between towns in the meantime.
