(Whately, MA) Mandatory water restrictions are still in place in Greenfield, and are now also in effect in Whately. The Whately Water Commissioners issued a water restriction on outdoor watering telling residents to follow an odd/even outdoor watering scheduling, meaning residents with an even number address can water outdoors on even number days and the same with odd numbered addresses. They also ask residents to water outdoors between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. “as this is the time that the water has a chance to absorb the most into the ground.”
