(Franklin County, MA) A fifth question about Medicare for All will appear on ballots this November for voters in the 2nd Berkshire and 2nd Franklin districts. This is a nonbinding question used to gauge public opinion and direct representatives to support “An Act Establishing Medicare for All in Massachusetts,” although the outcome of this ballot question does not guarantee a representative would vote for the legislation. This would act would initiate a single-payer universal health care program in Massachusetts that allows residents to choose their own providers and remove the role of health insurance companies.
