(Greenfield, MA) The Northwestern Assistant District Attorney Becky Michaels has been honored as one of 55 women in the Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly Top Women of Law. ADA Michaels is the director of community prosecution projects, including alternatives to incarceration, restorative justice initiatives and a conviction integrity unit.

“ADA Michaels is a valued part of our team. Her work on community prosecutions and diversity initiatives has been impactful. It’s satisfying to see hard work and a commitment to excellence rewarded by one’s peers,” said Northwestern District Attorney David E. Sullivan, who joined Michaels in Boston for the awards ceremony.

Michaels was the only prosecutor to be honored among the 55 women receiving awards. Other winners include attorneys in private practices, law professors, public defenders, an assistant attorney general, and attorneys in nonprofit organizations.
