(South Deerfield, MA) Thursday evening at around 6:15 p.m. crews from the South Deerfield Fire District were called to Matthews Road with reports of a shed on fire. When crews arrived on scene they found a fully involved shed on fire that was close to the residence and a brush fire creeping into the woods. They rang a first alarm to bring additional resources and aid. The shed and its contents were deemed a total loss. Assisting South Deerfield Fire was the Deerfield Police, Sunderland, Greenfield, Turners Falls, Bernardston, Deerfield, Whately, Northampton, and Conway Fire Departments.
