(Buckland, MA) Emily Willis, a librarian at Mohawk Trail Regional High School, is being honored with a Harold Grinspoon Foundation Pioneer Valley “Excellence in Teaching” Award.
Mohawk Trail Principal Chris Buckland said, “This is a terrific recognition for Emily and very well deserved. She’s creative, she’s committed to her work, and she truly cares about each and every student.”
Excellence in Teaching award winners are also invited to submit a Project Based learning idea and if selected, they can receive an additional “Classroom Innovator Prize,” which has attracted a host of creative hands-on projects.
