(New Salem, MA) New Salem’s Special Town Meeting will be held tonight at 6:30 p.m. the New Salem Town Hall Annex at 24 South Main Street and items to be discussed include allowing Fire Chief Joseph Cuneo to continue to serve in his position until September of 2028 when he turns 70.
Other items on the agenda for the Special Town Meeting include transferring funds to cover prior years’ bills and establishing a capital stabilization fund and special education stabilization fund for Ralph C Mahar Regional School District.
