(Orange, MA) Orange Police Department investigated a threat of school violence one Ralph C. Mahar Regional School student overhead another student say. The police determined through their investigation that the threat was not credible. The school will be following up with their own investigation and procedures.

In the letter sent home to families from Principal Scott Hemlin, he writes “Incidents such as this are taken very seriously and in order to maintain the safest school environment possible, it is imperative to have the mindset of ‘See something, say something.’”
