(Whately, MA) The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has alerted Massachusetts residents of a mung bean sprout recall due to a possible Listeria contamination. These mung bean sprouts were grown at Chang Farm in Whately, who voluntarily recalled all 10-pound bulk bags and 12 ounce retail bags with a sell by date of May 7th, 2023 that are sold under the brand names Chang Farm and Nature’s Wonder. Bags with a sell by date after May 7th may also be contaminated, so the Department of Public Health’s advising against eating any mung bean sprouts from Chang Farm pending further investigation.
