(Greenfield, MA) The Greenfield School Committee voted to hold an Open Meeting Law training session after Chair Amy Prioetti submitted a complaint to the Attorney General claiming Mayor and school committee member, Roxann Wedegartner, violated Open Meeting Law. Prioetti claimed the Mayor sent two emails this spring that contained information that counted as deliberation, which under Open Meeting Law is not allowed outside of properly posted meetings. The Mayor will be filing her response to the complaint and the Attorney General’s Office may decide to complete an investigation into the matter.
