(Charlemont, MA) Richard Pinkham, the Charlemont man found guilty of several counts related to sexual abuse of a child under 14, was sentenced to ten years in prison, the mandatory minimum, on Wednesday. After serving the prison time, Pinkham will be on probation for three years, on a sex offender registry, and required to stay 100 yards away from the family of the victim.

(06/13/23) On Wednesday Richard Tinkham of Charlemont will be back in Franklin County Superior Court for sentencing after being found guilty by a grand jury of aggravated rape and abuse of a child and indecent assault and battery of a child under 14. The incidents were reported to have occurred at a swim area in Charlemont and at the young girl’s home between 2017 and 2020 and reported to authorities in June of 2021.
