(Greenfield, MA) The Greenfield Department of Public Works building is now powered up to 100% by a new solar array. At Wednesday’s Greenfield City Council meeting, the council voted to accept the solar array as a gift from a generous individual, Bill Ashley, whose mission it is, according to Energy and Sustainability Director Carole Collins, to “mitigate climate change by providing solar arrays to communities across Franklin County.”
