(Shelburne, MA) As of July 1st, the Buckland Police Department has been officially dissolved and merged with the Shelburne Police Department, who will now be the primary policing agency for both towns. This comes as the result of an Inter-Municipal Agreement that was approved earlier this year. The Buckland Selectboard will be determining the future of the former Buckland Police Department building in the coming months.
