An Algae Bloom Risk Advisory was issued for Ashfield Lake yesterday. There was blue green algae observed on the lake and the Board of Health and Health inspector recommended an advisory be issued, however the lake is still open and swimming is “at your own risk” until further notice. The advisory will be lifted when the testing shows safe levels.
