(Deerfield, MA) Stillwater bridge in Deerfield has been reopened. The bridge was closed after the heavy rainfall and flooding until MassDOT could have a dive team perform inspections on the pillars. The high water levels preventing inspections from being performed earlier in the week. With more rainfall on the way today and this weekend, high water levels are expected to continue through next week and flash flooding may be possible this weekend. The Massachusetts State Police issued a boating alert for the Deerfield River Valley and the Upper Valley Region of the Connecticut River.
