(Bernardston, MA) Late Friday night a vehicle rolled over into a utility pole on Brattleboro Road, Route 5, at Keets Brook Road in Bernardston. When emergency responders arrived on scene, they extricated the sole occupant from the rear of the vehicle and transported them to the hospital with significant injuries. The road was temporarily closed while crews worked to clear the scene and utility crews worked through the weekend to repair the damaged pole. The crash is still under investigation however the Bernardston Police Department says criminal charges are likely.
