(Hadley, MA) Update: The missing 72 year old Montague man has been located. Wednesday afternoon the Hadley Police Department announced they had found Henry “Hank” Appleton who had gone missing Tuesday morning, when he was last seen at the Courtyard Marriott on Russell Street in Hadley at approximately 2 a.m. The Hadley Police Department reported finding Appleton safely in Amherst.

Update: The Amherst Police Department reported a sighting of Appleton in Amherst at approximately 4 a.m. in the area of Dickinson Street Tuesday.

The Hadley Police Department is looking for Henry “Hank” Appleton, a 72 year old Montague man who was last seem at the Courtyard Marriott on Russell Street in Hadley at approximately 2 a.m. on July 18th. Appleton is described as a 5 foot, 10 inch white male weighing about 190 pounds and was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt with white flower outlines that has a tear on one of the sides, dark shorts and hiking footwear.
