(Greenfield, MA) One of the country’s top CIOs has joined GCC as the new Vice President of Information Technology. Antoine Harrison is leading the college’s IT team as the school is working on several innovative programs including their first ever CRM, customer relationship management software, making upgrades to their enterprise systems, strengthening the cyber network security systems, and instituting an identity management system.

Harrison has over 25 years of experience in infrastructure and technology projects in education, government, and private industry, being recognized nationally for his innovation and creativity. Harrison said that GCC displays the qualities of an institution, like “passion for innovation and a commitment to integrity” that he has been looking for.

“A love for learning, a passion for innovation and a commitment to integrity are the foundation for why I chose Greenfield Community College. GCC displays the qualities of an institution I have been looking for,” Harrison said.

“I learned from some of the most innovative people in the industry that higher education should be founded upon a continuous pursuit of knowledge, innovative thinking that exceeds conventional boundaries and a desire to be the best at being better,” Harrison added.

“We are so grateful to have Antoine join our GCC team,” said President Michelle Schutt. “With his experience and creativity, we are confident that Antoine will continue to bring GCC into the digital future.”
