(Deerfield, MA) A settlement has been reached in the sexual abuse case against a former Deerfield Academy teacher Peter Hindle. The abuse allegedly occurred between 1989 and 1990 in the student’s dorm room and the victim’s lawyer Mitchel Garabedian has represented four other students reporting abuse from Hindle. The school settled the case in the “low six figures” and have been working to protect students with boundary policies and trainings.
