“No Assaultin’ Battery Citizens Committee” Holding Meeting On Wendell Energy Storage Project

(Wendell, MA) Wendell community members will have a chance to hear concerns about the battery storage facility proposed by New Leaf Energy for 68 Wendell Depot Road. A group called “No Assaultin’ Battery Citizens Committee” will be hosting a discussion Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Wendell Meetinghouse.

Of the 11.1 acres New Leaf would be clearing for the Wendell Energy Storage Project, 6.5 would be developed for 786 lithium-ion battery storage to hold energy to be released during high-demand periods. Read more about the Wendell Energy Storage Project here.
