(Sunderland, MA) The Riverside Cemetery Trustees will be hosting a public forum on the Preservation Master Plan for the Sunderland cemetery. The master plan assess the state of the historically significant gravesite which was established in 1714 and is Sunderland’s oldest place of internment. The plan makes several recommendations to preserve the site including treating 61 markers and monuments, enforcing policies, defining a “pull-off” area, amongst others. Residents can attend the public forum to learn more and provide feedback, which will be held on November 2nd at 6:30 p.m. in the Sunderland Town Offices.
