(Franklin County, MA) $164 million in grant funding has been announced through the Community One Stop for Growth program for housing, workforce, and economic development projects. The City of Greenfield was awarded $43,000 to create a housing plan to identify concrete strategies to expand housing production. Montague will be using $35,000 on a housing market feasibility study, and the Franklin Regional Council of Government will be conducting a public engagement and education campaign on the critical need for housing.
