(Colrain, MA) Route 112/Jacksonville Road in Colrain experienced a significant washout during a high water event in December of 2022, limiting the road to one lane of traffic. Now, almost one year later the town has been awarded $1 million through the MassWorks Infrastructure Program to fund permitting assistance, project oversight and construction costs to make the necessary repairs so the road may be fully reopened. No word yet on when work on the road will begin or be completed.
