(Erving, MA) The pilot program for speed bumps on Church and North Streets in Erving has concluded for the year. Neighborhood residents requested the program to mitigate speeding, and the speed bumps were put in place late summer this year. Now the town Selectboard and Capital Planning Committee will be reviewing data collected by the Franklin Regional Council of Governments in a traffic study during the pilot program to understand the impact of the speed bumps. Residents also may submit feedback via a Google form on the town website or a paper form which was mailed out Monday.
