(Leverett, MA) The Leverett location of the Dakin Humane Society has been sold to “Better Together Dog Rescue” a Massachusetts and Connecticut business. The location has been closed since March 2020 when the pandemic hit and Dakin consolidated their operations to their Springfield location. Dakin announced their plans to sell in January of this year as animal overpopulation in the region has decreased and foster homes for pets have increased.
