(Pittsfield, MA) Senator Paul Mark along with other members of the Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities and Energy will be holding a special oversight hearing today at the Berkshire Innovation Center in Pittsfield to address the rapid rate increases on electricity, gas, and oil. On average, electricity rates have increased by 12% in the past two years. Among those invited to the hearing are Eversource, National Grid, The Office of the Attorney General, The Department of Public Utilities, and others.
