(Montague, MA) Montague is preparing their Digital Equity Plan, which will rely on public input to guide the town’s investments and decisions as they work to close the digital divide. The plan will be focused on three areas of digital equity; access to internet connection, adequate devices, and digital literacy, and intends to reach groups that are experiencing the highest levels of digital inequities such as older adults, low-income populations, and households where English is not the primary language. The first public meeting will be held Wednesday, December 6th at 6 p.m. in the Montague Town Hall on Avenue A in Turners Falls and via Zoom. For more information on the Digital Equity Plan and the upcoming public input meeting, visit the town’s website here.
