(Franklin County, MA) Update as of 3:00 p.m.: Flooding has caused more road closures across Franklin County including Main Road at Foundry Village Road in Colrain. As well as Westbrook Road and North Street in Whately which have experienced flooding. In Greenfield, Riverside Drive is closed and so is Barton Road from Bernardston to Severance Street. In Deerfield, Stillwater Road is closed from Upper Road to Mill Village Road.

Heavy rainstorms have caused flooding in many areas throughout the county Monday morning. In Greenfield, Nash’s Mill Road has been closed and a section of Colrain Street has been flooding, resulting in the closure of Colrain Street and Woodard Road where Davenport Trucking is located and they work to remove trucks from their lot.

According to the Greenfield Police Department, the Green River has crested over Kimball Drive. A sanitary overflow consisting of untreated sewage and waste has also emerged in Greenfield as of 10:30 a.m. Monday, more on the overflow here.

In Northfield, South Mountain Road, Old Vernon Road, Captain Beers Plain Road and Four Mile Brook Roads have been closed or blocked Monday morning due to flooding, trees, and power lines down. And in Ashfield, Main Street has been cleared after trees and wires came down.
